About the Mobile Maker Lab

Neighborhood North believes that learning happens best when young people can explore, experiment, and create.

The Mobile Maker Lab (MML) is an outreach initiative designed to expand access to high-quality STEAM education for children and families across our region. Each program blends science, engineering, art, and environmental learning into experiences that are joyful, collaborative, and deeply engaging.

Our outreach sessions support classroom learning and connect to PA STEELS Standards, while encouraging children to ask questions, test ideas, and see themselves as capable makers.
